dc.descriptionThe article is devoted to the definition of the moral imperative of the scribes of the Kiev Rus era, which they accumulated during the conceptual devebpment of reality in the original texts of multi-genre orientatbn. The text mark of the manifestatbn of religbus conscbusness sermons appear as representatives of the highest manifestation of the axiological characteristbs of the Middle Ages. The article proposes an analysis of the types of Christian ethics whbh are the basis for forming of Christian concepts. The artistic reality of medieval scribes is completely subordinated to teocentric contemplatbn, therefore, the conceptual picture of the world is dominated by sacred concepts. Hermeneutical keys to understanding the medieval picture of the world is a religbus moral imperative in the explicatbn of Christian norms, values and concepts. The main attentbn is paid to the sermons of llarbn of Kiev, Theodosius of Pechersk and Vobdymyr Monomakh.uk_UA
