Abstract: Стаття присвячена вивченню можливостей використання цифрових техноло- гій для формування соціокультурної компетентності у процесі навчання інозем- ної мови. Встановлено, що широке використання цифрових технологій сприяє підвищенню ефективності освітнього процесу, доступності для усіх його учасників, водночас вони забезпечують ефективній інтеграції в іншомовне середовище та адаптації до культури країни, мова якої вивчається, підвищенню мотивації до вивчення іноземних мов тощо. Дані аспекти є пріоритетними напрямами модернізації освітньої галузі, що й визначає актуальність даного дослідження. Проаналізовано різні тлумачення терміну «соціокультурна компе- тентність» та узагальнено, що його основою є культурна спільність, яка дозволяє вільно розуміти та сприймати норми і цінності іншої соціокультурної спільноти. Представлено етапи формування соціокультурної компетентності (мотиваційний, інформативний, меморизація, активізація). Розглянуто низку онлайн-застосунків та продемонстровано можливості їх використання на різних етапах уроку іноземної мови. Проаналізовано ефективні форми та методи формування соціокультурної компетентності. Проведено опитування у формі анкетування серед здобувачів вищої освіти з метою виявлення їх ставлення щодо доцільності застосування цифрових технологій для формування соціокуль- турної компетентності у процесі навчання іноземної мови. Узагальнені резуль- тати засвідчили, що переважна більшість респондентів здебільшого позитивно оцінює переваги використання цифрових технологій (онлайн-застосунків, навчальних платформ тощо) задля удосконаленні іншомовних компетент- ностей, зокрема соціокультурної. Здобувачі вищої освіти вбачають важливість набуття соціокультурної компетентності задля формування уяви про куль- турне різноманіття та ведення успішного міжкультурного діалогу.
Description: The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of using digital technologies for the formation of socio-cultural competence in the process of teaching a foreign language. It has been established that the widespread use of digital technologies helps to increase the efficiency of the educational process, accessibility for all its participants, at the same time they provide effective integration into the foreign language environment and adaptation to the culture of the country, which language is studied, increasing motivation to learning foreign languages, etc. These aspects are priority areas for the modernisation of the education sector, which determines the relevance of this study. The article analyses various interpretations of the term «socio-cultural competence» and generalises that it is based on a cultural community that allows to understand and perceive the norms and values of another socio-cultural community freely. The stages of formation of socio-cultural competence (motivational, informative, memorialisation, activation) are presented. A number of online applications are considered and the possibilities of their use at different stages of a foreign language lesson are demonstrated. Effective forms and methods of forming socio-cultural competence are analysed. A survey among higher education applicants was conducted to determine their attitude to the feasibility of using digital technologies to develop socio-cultural competence in the process of teaching a foreign language. The generalised results have shown that the vast majority of respondents are mostly positive about the benefits of using digital technologies (online applications, learning platforms, etc.) to improve foreign language competences, including socio- cultural competence. Higher education applicants see the importance of gaining socio- cultural competence in order to form an idea of cultural diversity and a successful intercultural dialogue.
