Abstract
This chapter provides an in-depth analysis of the experience and practice of providing
educational services for the specialised bachelor's degree programme in Philology with a
specialisation in German Languages and Literatures Study Program (including translation),
with English as the major at Nizhyn Mykola Gogol State University in Ukraine. The features
of the programme's curriculum are described in detail, including its theoretical and practical
components, as well as the opportunities for field experience available to students throughout
their studies. The article also highlights the content of key subjects within the educational
programme that provide students with the necessary level of knowledge. The characteristics of
teaching methods used to ensure optimal learning outcomes and examples of learning tasks are
discussed in detail. The article highlights the importance of these factors in achieving successful
educational outcomes for Philology students. In addition, the article addresses educational
institutions' current challenges in providing quality educational services in Philology. It
suggests ways in which these challenges can be addressed and overcome.
